FUNCTIONING LAYOUT AND CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS
 |
 |
A) Thick cast iron firebox
B) Post-combustion air collector
C) Secondary combustion air gate valve and glass cleaning
D) Post-combustion air input holes
E) Wood guard
F) Shaking grate: lets the ash drop into the drawer (also during functioning)
G) Sealed box for optimal combustion control
H) N° N° 2 automatically-adjusted 160 m3/h axial fans
I) Automatic hot air circulation switch with heat probe. When the heating air reaches a temperature of 50°C, the fans start automatically and they switch off when the same drops below 50°C
L) Combustion product gate valve automatic command, regulated by opening the door
M) Removable cast iron roof
N) External air intake mechanism (h 5 cm - optional)
O) Room air return grill
P) Hot air flow grill
Q) Outlets for ducting hot air
R) Frame around opening optional (supplied on luce)
S) Self-closing door with ceramic glass (excluding Riga 49)

TECHNICAL ARRANGEMENTS
• S.C.P. (Clean Combustion System): advantageous combustion system that guarantees cleaner combustion products and greater heat yield. After “primary combustion”, obtained by means of a revolutionary air distribution method, the process is optimised thanks to “post-combustion” lowering pollutants (CO) and recovering further heat
More details>>
• Natural convection: allows natural diffusion of the air
• Forced ventilation: allows quicker and uniform diffusion of the air, via the use of two fans controlled by a two-speed switch
• Post-combustion: system that allows to re-burn combustion residues, thus obtaining a reduction of emissions and increase of heat efficiency
• Ducting the hot air: using flexible aluminium pipes it is possible to duct the hot air produced to also heat other rooms in the house for a total surface area of 90 m2
• Small self-closing door: allows hermetic closure of the firebox and is equipped with a gate valve for the introduction of the combustion air (excluding Riga 49, Riga 491L)
• Glass: 800° C heat shock-proof ceramic glass is used exclusively. A particular air distribution system greatly reduces the deposit of soot on the glass
• External air intake mechanism (optional): allows connection with the external air pipe as envisioned by the UNI Technical Standards. It is supplied with gate valve and fitting
